I know guy’s shouldn’t be called beautiful,

But handsome isn’t the right word.

I love you hair,

I love your abs,

I love your smile,

The way you run.

The way you act adorable.

I love your tallness,

How your hands are always warm.

I secretly love how every girl stares you down as you walk past.

(Knowing that they can’t have you)

I love your outside beauty

I love your inner beauty

Because, You are beautiful.

The Joke

meaningofpoetry:

I was never the laughter.

I was the one who provided the laughter.

But never the laughter.

Never the joke.

The joke teller, but not the joke.

To be on the opposite feels so…insignificant.

So lonely, and wrong.

I feel misplaced.

I don’t deserve this…

I’m not a beggar but I beg them to stop.

Because, now the joke is me.

You are the EVIL in my life.

You WILL NOT touch me.

I will not give you the SATISFACTION you want.

I will not let you hurt me.

The LORD is PROTECTING me.

HE will not let the evils of your hurtful words harm me.

HE will PROTECT me from YOU.

When I Cry

When I cry,

My first teardrop wants to fall onto your shirt.

My sobs want to be drowned out by your hug.

My cheeks want to be wiped by your gentle finger.

I do not want to be questioned when I cry.

I just want you to hold me, to tell me everything is going to be okay.

Please do not tell me not to cry, just hold me.

Tell me it is okay to cry. Even in class.

When I cry,

Hold me.
